The GBRhythmic Group is sponsored by Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It and by Eskamas Gymnastic Wear.

Our main supporters are Team Bath at the University of Bath, and Chordiem Corporate Events.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past year and who was cheering for us so loudly last week at Wembley Arena! It really was a fantastic experience for us to be there and to compete at London 2012 - the first ever British rhythmic group at the Olympics!

We had a good competition and performed two good routines - including a personal best score for us in a major event on the first day. Overall, our score of 48.000 was nearly three marks above the Olympic qualification standard we had to achieve back in January at the London Test Event.

We always knew it would be tough for us at this level, but had it not been for a time penalty for finishing our routine one second late on the second day, we would have finished above Canada in the final rankings. We believe we have clearly shown that a GB group - even without any official funding - can compete at this, the very highest of levels!

It was great to see so many young girls in the Wembley crowd, and we hope we have done our bit to inspire some of them to get involved in rhythmic gymnastics and discover just what a wonderful sport it is!

More updates and photos of the group will be on this site very soon, and you can get more information on the group on Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you!
